AutoCAD Mechanical – is a professional application based on AutoCAD supplemented by special libraries and is designed for engineers mechanical design. The program includes tools for the development of machine parts, such parts as the “body of revolution”, a library of standard parts. The application allows to save all the work previously done in AutoCAD and accelerate the preparation of design documentation.

- Intel Pentium or AMD Athlon dual-core processor with a clock speed of at least 1.6 GHz and supports SSE2 (for Windows XP); Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon dual-core processor with a clock speed of at least 3 GHz and supports SSE2 (for Windows Vista )
- 2 GB of RAM
- 6.3 GB of hard disk space for installation
- A monitor with 1280×1024 resolution and support for true color mode
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher
- Pointing device Microsoft Mouse-compliant
- To install: connect to the Internet or DVD drive

For 64-bit version of AutoCAD Mechanical 2013:
- Operating system Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows Vista (SP2 or later) Enterprise, Business, Ultimate or Home Premium (sm.sravnenie versions of Windows Vista), or Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition (SP2 or higher)
- CPU AMD Athlon, AMD Opteron, Intel Xeon with support – Intel EM64T or Intel Pentium 4 processor supporting Intel EM64T (all – with the support SSE2)

- 6.3 GB of hard disk space for installation
- A monitor with 1280×1024 resolution and support for true color mode

Additional system requirements for 3D-modeling:
- Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon, 3 GHz or higher, Intel or AMD dual-core processor with 2 GHz or higher
- At least 2 GB of RAM
- 2 GB of free disk space (not counting the space needed to install)
- 32-bit workstation-class graphics card with a storage capacity of at least 128 MB, supports screen resolution of 1280×1024, mode of true color, Pixel Shader 3.0 (or higher) and Direct3D.
